This policy explains what we collect, how we use it and the choices you have.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

Launch list and free template: your email address and, if you choose, your first name.
Partners form: your name, company, work email, the type of business you are, monthly release volume (optional) and your message.
Emails you send us.

Information collected automatically

Our website host keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, to deliver and protect the Site.
We don’t use analytics tools, advertising pixels or tracking cookies on the Site. [Keep this line only while it’s true. If any tool is added, name it here and update section 5.]

3. How we use it

To email you about our launch. When you join, you see this notice: “By joining, you agree to get launch emails from Simple Press Release. Unsubscribe anytime. See our Privacy Policy.” We send only those emails unless you agree to more.
To reply to partner messages. We use partner details only to reply.
To run, secure and improve the Site, and to keep records the law requires, such as unsubscribe records.

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for targeted advertising.

4. Emails and unsubscribing

Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link and our mailing address. Unsubscribing takes one step. We honor it within 10 business days and usually within 2 days. After you unsubscribe we keep your address on a do-not-email list so we don’t email you again. We may still reply to messages you send us.

We share personal information only with:

Service providers that help us run the Site and our business, under terms that limit their use of it to serving us. Today: Vercel (website hosting) and HighLevel (forms, contact records and email). [List only what’s in use on launch day.]
When the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
If our business is sold or reorganized, with the new owner, who must follow this policy for information collected under it.

6. How long we keep it

Launch list: until you unsubscribe or [24 months] after our last email to you, whichever comes first.
Partner messages and other emails: [24 months] after our last contact, unless we start working together.
Unsubscribe records: indefinitely, so we keep honoring them. After that, we delete or de-identify the information.

7. How we protect it

We limit access to people who need it, use two-step login where available, and use service providers with their own security programs. No system is perfectly secure.

8. If something goes wrong

If a security breach affects your personal information, we’ll notify you as the law requires.

9. Your choices

Unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email.
Ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@simplepressrelease.com or writing to our PO Box. We’ll confirm the request comes from you and respond within [45] days.

10. Children

The Site and service are for businesses and organizations. They aren’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect children’s information. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we’ll delete it.

11. Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change is significant, we’ll also tell people on our email list.
